AUGUST
August already? Can it be a month has passed since July 4th with hot dogs and that fabulous greek sauce? August is full of promise, however, with
upcoming county fairs all around us. Good time to take advantage of our lodge
and attend some of the entertaining and exciting events of the fairs.
The sizzling and mainly dry conditions of July demanded vigilance and diligence
in maintaining the lushness of our greens and fairways. We are dedicated to continuing this tradition to the end of the season.
July gave us our first hole in one of the season. Kevin Bush aced the 8th hole
with a 3 wood and a Nike 1 platinum ball. Great job, Kevin. You eclipsed all the entries on our BRAGGIN' BOARD.
Tuesday and Thursday evening leagues have reached their half-season mark and
plans are in the works for a blow-out end of the season party. We'll keep you
posted, so stay tuned!
